Dr. Danya Burks, Member

Danya Burks, PhD is a School Liaison, T2T Instructor and Adjunct Instructor for the Wichita State University, Wichita, KS. Dr. Burks is also the owner and instructor of DBJ Educational Services.

From 1990 to 1993, Dr. Burks served as Center Director for the Military Ocean Terminal in Concord, CA. She has taught Mathematics and Computer Technology in various educational institutions from 1993 through 2020.

Dr. Burks has a Doctor of Philosophy, Major in Education (Instructional Technology/Online Learning) from Northcentral University in Scottsdale, AZ, a Master of Science in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University in Millcreek, UT, and a Bachelor of Science in Education, Concentration in Mathematics from the Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.

She is an innovative and growth-focused senior professional, with broad-ranging experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, research and analysis, project management, as well as strategic planning and implementation. Through her work and study, Danya Burks, PhD has developed an expert multidisciplinary knowledge of theories, laws and regulations, concepts, processes, methodologies, principles and practices related to knowledge of K-16 education curriculum practices and standards. She has a track record of success in developing long-range plans, overseeing an organization’s mission and implementing high-quality programs.
